Thats because Casual trash has short memory. The real gamer never forgets, and sure as **** never forgives for being stabbed in the back. I personally dream of the day that EA is burned to the ground, and they deserve every criticism they get from here on out.

"Casual trash"... in regards to hobbies about twiddling your thumbs on a plastic widget.
No, there is a difference between "Casual" players and "Casual Trash" even you should know that, the casual trash are the people who claim to be gamers, even in the casual sense, but do NOTHING to further there hobby forward, instead, defending every thing that is bad about something, or even downright creating issues where there were none.
This usually filters into trolls, team killers, and yes, EVEN elitist style behavior. No matter what they call themselves, they are trash and they dont further the community in anyway to make a better gaming experience.
This also kinda filters into "Metaknights" Who only play OP Meta approved characters, builds, etc in any game, because it forces people to also metaknight in order to stand a chance, thus forcing the company to keep producing power creeep, making the game linear.

Look people are always gonna' play what's effective. It sucks sure, but don't like, outright demonize them for it dude. People take the path of least resistance and what gives them options. That's just how metas work. Yeah, they can ruin stuff 10ever (see: Halo's Battle Rifle) but still.
Thing is, believe you me, the Battlefront II 2 community continues to be hard on EA/DICE. We don't really give them much quarter, I promise you that. But they do deserve praise where it is due, like the new Night on Endor mode. Great stuff.

The frustrating thing is that even as EA and other publishers walk back lootboxes, they return to previously demonized behavior and act like they're the good guys. And, frankly, if EA hadn't pushed too far too fast, we'd probably still be swimming in lootboxes.
