Anyone else thought of doing this classic bootleg color scheme for their snowtroopers?

Bootlegs is also a good nickname for troops that ignore terrain.

I like the purple version used in the prequels better as part of the squad Mace Windu used. I actually have a few different prequel version figures and will use them as inspiration for different squads/trooper types.

Just putting a different color in them tends to highlight that the “snowtroopers” are really wearing an environment suit. If you make it red or silver it will immediately digger they are going somewhere too hot. If you make it blue or gray it will look like they are going somewhere damp, etc.

even though it pre-dates GCW, I think Galactic Marines is a good way to go for a paint scheme. I was thinking maybe gray with a crème cloak.

im 100% doing Galactic marines for the color scheme
