Yes, TIE Defender. Lets look at the stats:

+ Fastest

+ Hardest-hitting

+ Tractor Beam

+ Hyperdrive

+ Cool looking (3 wings!)

+ flown by Wedge and All of rouge squadron at one point

+ Scared Everybody

+ White 4K

- Too cool for its own good.

T-65 for lore, in-game, and looks.

So therefor the obvious all around is the Sheathipede.... (j/k)

Lore: (not done much so just doing something simple) TIE fighter

in-game: B/SF-17 bomber

looks: lambda (something to be said about that ship, even if I’ve yet to fly it)

all-around: B/SF-17 bomber

Lore: Punisher. It's simple: Moar bombs, more missiles, more torpedoes... I love the Bomber, and this is a Bomber+... at least in the lore.

In-Game: TIE/D with Ruthlessness... It's just fun to shoot things twice

Looks: Ehm... StarVipers... I mean. TIE Advanced Prototype

All around: It has to be the Punisher... That ship made me want to play the game.

Oh no! I forgot that I have two favorite ships. I must now retreat and reconsider my life choices that have led me here.....

Lore : E-Wing, Y-Wing, TIE Defender

In-Game : TIE Defender, Gunboat (though the Defender should still be better. Boost at a minimum, Tech or systems slot as well)

Looks : E-Wing, Gunboat

All-around : TIE Defender

Lore : VT-49 Decimator

In-Game : TIE/sf

Looks : Raider -class Corvette

All-around: TIE/sf

I'd say lore for me would be the E-Wing, I really like the idea of high-tech advanced starfighters, and the E-Wing always seemed neat whenever it popped up.

In-game would be the TIE S/F, lots of fun varied builds with that ship and it's pretty reliable.

Looks: Starviper I think, especially with the Guns for Hire red and black scheme. Can't go wrong with the Death Butterfly!

Lore : Squint. The first "dangerous looking" TIE

In-Game : TAP if I want to die fast like the tongue of a snake, or Defender if I want to die slower than the molasses in January.

Looks : X-Wing T-65.

In-Game: Tie Silencer (honorable mention to the protectorate fighter)

It's the TIE Fighter for all categories. Been my favorite since it appeared as the very first Star Wars fighter on screen in ANH. Flying swarms in formation is what got me to play x-wing. Unfortunately the game has moved on from the humble TIE/LN and my enthusiasm for x-wing has waned accordingly.

Lore: *the* Millennium Falcon

In-Game: StarViper

Looks: T65 X-Wing (this was the hardest choice to make)

All-around: StarViper, because it has become too much fun to not fly
