You have to build up to white.

Start with a grey, then a lighter shade of grey, then another lighter shade than that and so on until you get to white. It's a paint, but it's faster than trying to jump straight to white.

To be honest though, I thought the black helmets were a choice you made on purpose, and it looked good to my eyes, at least.

The fleet troopers are done mow and they look pretty good to me. I will try to grab a few pics soon. I’m now working on my last ATRT which will get me finished with my Rebels.

Finally got the last of my rebels done. It’s an eclectic bunch but it makes me infinitely happier than gray plastic.
