Raiding Avengers

The Gozanti and Avenger nerfs have left the ISD in a tough place. It often doesn't have the activations necessary to get into an ideal place, and if it does get there, lacks the punch it used to enjoy. Here's my take on a post-nerf Avenger list:

With such a low bid I'm probably going second, but with 6 activations (including Strategic Advisor), I'm confident I can get the Avenger into a good position. The Raiders take advantage of concentrate fire commands from Thrawn to pepper enemy ships with multiple mid-size attacks. Jonus makes every ship better, and the Advanced will hopefully keep him alive just long enough. So what have I missed?

I like the look of this. Maybe take a raider out, and give all the others ord. experts and add a standard gozanti for pushing Jonus and his escort? That would give you a nine pt bid, or some additional upgrades like Zertick Strom instead of the regular advanced, and maybe Kallus on the instigator.

Why an ISD2 with Boarding Troopers?

A leading shot xi7 ISD 2 is far more useful than an isd 1 after and before the bt turn. Since btvenger isnt a one shot kill any more, the extra damage on approach can make a big difference.

Think on Advanced Gunnery. It is a good objective if you are punished being second. But with any other strong objetive could be wasted.

Superior positions is not a good idea. Solar Corona is better.

But with no bid you want better objectives.

I would give Sensor Net a try even without strategic. Not the best scenario but with so many ships (you even could change one raider for two gozantis) you could make a good job. As I said, give it a try and see if you can manage it.

Contested outpost probably a good one too. If you get lambdas you could try Fire Lanes.

MW FL and SN are probably the best objective set if you are going with a good amount of activations and a first-player beast like BTAvenger. If they give you first you get it with 0 bid. If they don't, they will regret it. I suggest you to explore some changes around it.
