Rule Question: Timing in monster phase

By Raahk, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

Hey, i have a question regarding the monster phase. If a hunter enemy moves at my location, it will immediately engage and attack one investigator, right? Also, when do enemies become ready? My understanding is that each exhausted enemy readies after the move and attack phase, correct?

title had an obvious spelling error

Hunters both move, which means they automatically engage an investigator at their location (unless they are Aloof), and then attack.

Exhausted enemies become ready during the upkeep phase, I think. In any case, it’s the same time as your investigator and assets become ready. This will also mean they automatically engage an investigator at their location, again unless they’re Aloof. But at that time they don’t attack as well.

Hope that makes sense!

Yes, the hunter moves first. If a ready monster is ever at the same location as an investigator they automatically engage. Then after the hunters move, all monsters attack if they are engaged. Exhausted enemies do not refresh until the next phase- the upkeep phase when all exhausted cards are readied. This step applies to all cards in play, both investigator cards and enemies.

All this time i played the Game unnecessarily harder:D For some reason i thought that enemies ready first, move and attack:wacko:

Potential spoiler dir the very first scenario in the nicht of the zealot

I also realised that in the very first scenario the ghoul priest appears after the enemy phase which means he doesnt immediately attack

Edit: omg is there a way to edit the title?

Edit your first post and you can edit the title.

You can also use "spoiler" and "/spoiler" to hide potential spoilers, replacing the "" with [],

like so.

Thanks
