Where is the best place to find out what the nearest upcoming tournaments are? (Especially in the Arkansas/Kansas/Oklahoma area for me)

Check Facebook for any local X-Wing groups. That how pretty much all tournaments are advertised in my area.

Yeah, Facebook groups are your best bet, along with the FB pages for any local game stores. I can't speak on OK or AR, but here in KS there are several groups that seem to have decent FB groups.
