That '190 Years Old' clip is just glorious. The use of OT music is perfect. And that moment when Chewie takes the copilot seat for the first time and that smile that comes onto Han's face. Brilliant. I had my concerns but this just felt so... 'Star Wars'. I'm pumped for this.

That’s completely fair, and we are on the same page here.
I have used Gen. Tagge and Maj. Gen. Veer’s as examples many times, but there are those who maintain that the Stormtrooper Corps was The Imperial Army, as opposed to a distinct branch.

Cool to hear a reference to the Imperial Army. Hopefully, they'll confirm that the "mudtroopers" are just slang for Imperial Army infantry (like the term mud cruncher is, or the term Doughboy used to be) and yet another specialized trooper type.

Guy can't do a Ford impersonation, they've made lando lgbt, Ron Howard can't stand the films star and is already distancing himself from the movie, Disney execs have no faith in the movie.
What's there to be positive about?
There's so little interest the black series toys went on clearance four days after they were released.
It'll do okay first weekend but like tlj you won't get the vital repeat viewings and it'll maintain the trend of the last few movies.

Oh. Well, I guess Star Wars really is dead.
Altho I would hope that portraying Han Solo took more than the ability to do a Harrison Ford impersonation. The film depicts Han at 19. He’s 29 in ANH. Luke was a whiny farm boy at 19, but a total badass 4 years later. Maybe Han was a ‘diamond in the rough’ at the stage he’s at in this movie. Or maybe they should have gone with ANYONE else other than the FIRST guy that auditioned.
Lando is a BLT? Huh? Oh....wait, you mean someone is trying to say Lando might swing both ways? Maybe this is his college years...
Ron Howard doesnt like the movie he was hired on to fix after TWO other directors FAQed it all up? Big surprise.
and, tell me, how did the Dizzy Execs feel about John Carter or Lone Ranger?
Star wars will survive this, Han Solo will still be awesome in the OT, and I will still have faith that maybe, Just maybe, the next SW movie will be good enough to stand between RotJ and the REAL SW OG one-two punch of ANH and ESB.
