Operation Silent Hail deployment cards

By Derrault, in Star Wars: Legion

So, the PDF features a couple new deployment cards: “Surrounded” and “Push Them Back!”

These don’t exist physically right?

They do not physically exist unless they put them into the kits that stores will get.

Yeah, that’s part of what I was wondering; the article only indicates prize versions of existing cards, acrylic tokens, and certificates for best painting or similar.

Can anyone who has received (knows a recipient of) the kit answer as to if the contents are more extensive than the listed awards?

Would they come in the Battlefield Supplies Expansion?

I know that not only it has the models of comms stations, moisture evaporators, etc., but new missions, too. It could make sense that it has new deployments as well.

No, the new cards from Battlefield Supplies are already revealed- The Moisture Vaporator Mission, the Minefields condition, and a Deployment card that's similar to major offensive, but troopers get scout 1. EDIT: Here you go! The article also makes it clear these are the only new cards in the expansion.

The Battlefield Supplies Expansion comes with one new card for each category; objective, deployment, and condition. They showed them in the announcement article. I don’t believe the deployment card in that pack is either of the new deployments shown in the operation. I’ll probably end up printing these two new deployments out and adding them to my deck

Hrm, if Surrounded and Push Them Back! aren’t included in the operations kits for organized play, I’d want a way to get them, but printing cards is pretty well outside my purview. ?

Given their asymmetrical nature, I'm not sure they're intended for non-campaign play. I suspect we may see them in a more refined form later, but I don't think FFG intends for them to be widely used as they are now.

What pdf are you referring to?

You can find the PDFs under "Operations" on the product page (https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/star-wars-legion/)

The larger of the two is a two-player campaign, with the final two missions featuring non-standard deployments.

Yeah, that had occurred to me as well, but I consider the advantage for one side or the other to already be baked into some other deployment cards

Technically, there are a few places where you could probably get them printed...

They'll probably come in the next unannounced terrain pack, if they ever are officially released.
