Good catch. That can't be a coincidence. Although whoever came up with that number might have been able to "sneak" it past the QA people.

It seems like some other numbers would have been more appropriate:

1138 - cell block, among other things
327 - docking bay and landing platform
3270 - odds of successfully navigating an asteroid field
TK-421 - some trooper
2187 - Leia's cell block

But I approve of this Star Trek nod. Lets home that unit has some special action that is also a ST easter egg (2xp-1strain-Make it so-Pick an enemy trooper within 3 spaces. That trooper must skip its next turn).

I think the reference is nebulous at best, the designation of the Enterprise is NCC 1701 (A, B, C, D)
