When do they normally announce the dates for the tournaments at gencon? I went there this past year and thursday/friday was a bit rough, am I delusional thinking they might do saturday?

Usually when you buy the ticket they have that info..

GenCon events get released on Sunday.

North American Championships are Saturday with a cut to Sunday.
