It finally happened to me last night:

Vader scratched Admonition 's name plate off the hull.

Really, though, it offended me more than it impacted the outcome of the game. It was either Vader Admo and allow his ISD to eat her double-arcing ACMs to the rear, or get Chimaera to safety. He chose... poorly. Really, probably the better choice would have been to Vader off either ACM or OE, but the psychological impact of Admonition 's presence is not to be underestimated.

Ouch, psychological impact can be big, messer @PodRacer the same happen to my Admo, prompting the question on how far Vader's reach is.

I agree though he's better served taking an ACM, APT, or OE, unless of course Admo has a full complement of tokens to abuse... He has the potential to be a game changing to any Imp fleet for 3 points (if memory serves me well), if used well.

My buddy runs HIE on his Interdictor and that crap hurts, so Vader likes to go disable those for me.

Yeah I used Vader in one game to remove the avenger title from a friends ISD....

What if vader removes aspiration? The 6 shield side stays and the not-aspiration-anymore can repair again?

Yes, as the card isn't in play anymore it's entire effect is gone, the ship can repair again. Now why would anyone do that with Vader?

That was my thought too. Reversing the aspired shields is neigh impossible. Just like vadering needa would not remove the evade.

That's not the same case.

Needa allow you to change one token for another but nothing prevent you from having an evade token after that.

There is a rule that says:

A hull zone cannot have more shields than its maximum shield value, and it cannot recover a shield if it is at its maximum shield value.

Without aspiration I guess you cannot ignore that rule anymore.

Defense tokens, on the other hand are just setup stuff.

However there is nothing that said us how to proceed in this case. I would guess you loose the excess but I have nothing to support that. You cannot have more than your maximum but you cannot move them or spend them freely either so... no idea.

It is a real pity I cant use Vader with Flight Commanders!
