He was much better in TCW than he is in Rebels. He's too much of a clown in Rebels. I really liked some of his episodes in TCW.

Honestly, I didn't see much difference. Felt pretty consistent to me, aside from the fact that he generally was a little more threatening in TCW when he wasn't playing nice.

Hondo's had some time to think up some new strategies since his last clone wars appearance.
Considering he's using Ezra as his main point of contact with the Rebels, it would make sense if he was showing his friendly side a lot more than he normally would because he needs this kid to "trust" him.

This may have already been pointed out, but it also doesn't say that you're spending that many surges on the cleave. So if you roll 4 surges you can Cleave 4, Recover 4, Stun, and Weaken. However, if you don't get any damage through only one of those will work.

I have a feeling the campaign itself will be 4 missions long, with 6 possible missions depending on how it branches. The same as Twin Shadows and Bespin Gambit. I could be wrong though.

Don't get me wrong, I'm much more interested in those than the Ghost crew--but being reasonably demanded figures and thematically un-related, if they were to appear in one wave...
t'would worry me a bit.

That’s very fair, altogether it might not be a good sign. But I’d really like some large/creature/vehicle Rebels. And more non-unique Rebels. And I’m always up for zuckuss and 4-LOM

I would suspect that too, if not for the fact that the announcement article used odd wording in a couple of places.
Quotego on a galactic adventure with a six-mission mini-campaign!
Quotewith six missions that can either be incorporated into any full campaign or played in sequence as the Tyrants of Lothal mini-campaign
One seems to imply the mini-campaign is six missions long.
The other seems to follow the logic of the previous mini-campaigns, that there are 6 missions total, but 4 are branch missions that means the campaign is 4 in length in total...
We'll learn more as the articles are released I suppose...
I am alone in thinking the artwork, especially for Ezra and Sabine, is absolutely terrible?

What's your issue with it? I personally don't think "absolutely terrible" is deserved
Mainly that it looks nothing like the characters. Granted the visual style of the cartoon isn't going to be copied directly, but I don't think you'd pick them out as the same people if the article didn't tell you.
For example, this is Sabine off the Deployment card:
She bears no resemblance whatsoever to any picture of Sabine I've seen before. You might notice her as an extra in the background of a scene... but probably wouldn't. Here's Sabine from the show:
Alright, the IA artwork has a slight tinge of purple hair if you look really closely... and Sabine colours her hair so that must be enough right ??? God no, they are nothing alike. I find the IA rendition of her horribly unconvincing - and uninteresting. It looks like a bad drawing of a bad cosplay of the original character. Then there's Ezra: he looks more like Eminem's Stan video than anything from Star Wars. Even Thrawn looks like Herman Munster painted blue, is there a shortage of Thrawn artwork to choose from!? Evidently not - the box cover is a decent piece, as is his command card, so why is his deployment card so awful?
Kanan is OK (hard to get wrong when you can't see most of his face) and at least you can tell who Zeb is supposed to be. But those others... ugh.

We had people claiming the same thing with Hera when her art came out.
It's a difficult thing adapting an animated character to a medium with more realism.
You might also note that her eyes are significantly smaller in this version, for instance. I don't say this facetiously, but as an actual point- these little changes like that build up to make a real life depiction of a character feel a bit alien from their animated counterpart.

Right. It is impossible to please everyone. Either you go with the cartoony style and get called out for it not being consistent with the game, or you try to adapt to the game's existing style and get called out for that.
At least LFL/Disney has approved the result, so it matches their vision of what a "realistic ghost crew" might look like.
And we have seen similar adaptation in Destiny, X-Wing, and Armada(?) already.

That is exaggerated if you ask me. Looks like her hair in some season 4 episodes. I like the more realistic look (compared to the cartoons that is)

Plus- even if it was a little different... what's wrong with a slightly different take on Sabine?
She changes her hair as often as Vader goes through ranking officers. They could've given her neon green hair, and while it wouldn't match a model on the show, it also wouldn't be at all out of character.
And, of course- you can always paint her model how you like.
While I am not particularly a Rebels fan, I like a lot of things about this box:
Now the only issue is how heavily the rebels appear in the campaign. If it's just a mission or two that's fine but if I wind up required to buy them all to play the campaign I'll probably push this off a bit.

This is how I picture a realistic Sabine to look: http://witnessfitness.tumblr.com/post/102747831876/fit-asian-girls-chu-mi-kim
That's the body of a Mandalorian.

Maybe the pre-retcon mandalorians, yeah.

You don't have to buy any of the expansion packs to play the campaign. You can always use the punch-out tokens for the rebel figures that come in the box. Though- I understand if you don't want to use card board tokens. Personally, I don't play an expansion until I have all the figures AND they are all painted

Totally agree. I for one, really like how they depicted Sabine in the new expansion. I like her slightly more realistic look and think it's very consistent with how I see her in the cartoon but with more detail.
Wait until they cast some rando to play her in the movies (maybe 2022). Then complain. Of course, I doubt I'll be complaining then either.

With how insanely acrobatic she is , I'd say she's probably just a bit more buff than this even.
Edit: total other topic, but Tyrants of Lothal and its figure packs is "In Development". Curious how long before it's "At the Printer".
Edited by subtrendy2Ah, what can I say, but I called it! Think I figured out which small box I want now heh

It's true. Mandalorians fly around, contorting their bodies to do aerial acrobatics, enduring high Gs, and controlling a rocket pack with body mechanics. That takes muscle. Sabine is probably in the hold every night lifting repulsor-bells.
will this be the last expansion for the game ? i would love to see some more.. if possible with new trilogy content, dagobah, endor, etc..

I'll answer this question in the same spirit I answered THE question so many asked after the season 2 finale: "Is Ahsoka dead?"
NO! And why do you have so little confidence to ask the question in the first place?
I pre-ordered the complete new wave a few minutes ago, and so should you.
