The figure pack article says that they're available now for pre-order. The first article was probably just an oversight

When is this coming out? I don't see it in the upcoming products list.

find out and purchase the Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus Ally Pack (SWI55), the Sabine Wren and Zeb Orrelios Ally Pack (SWI56), the Thrawn Villain Pack (SWI57) and the Hondo Ohnaka Villain Pack (SWI58) from your local retailer!

OMG!

yea they edited it now to say "for pre order" too on the Tyrant expansion

And the full Rebels crew in figure packs! WOW!

Minus the ones we already have, naturally.

Death trooper figures look awesome!!! Personally I am not into rebels at all, so overall this doesn’t do as much for me as a Rogue One/Endor/Solo box would have. Also, I haven’t even finished Jabbas Realm yet, so I’m a bit behind! But it’s great to have something new to stop the constant “this game is dead, Legion is taking over everything! Woe is me!!” posts on the board :)

I found it interesting they didn’t mention anything about an app related campaign with this release. I think it’s fair to say there will be more IA news coming down the pike as they will certainly release more app campaigns in the near future.

Lothcats!

(yeah, and Thrawn and Death Troopers and Clone Trooper hero too) :D

There is so much goodness in this announcement. Put me down for one of each!

Hopefully we’ll see a Kallus blister at some point.

Well I've said before that it was Lothal I was waiting on to get into the game, but...

...I dunno, this sure looks a lot smaller than I was expecting. Not an IA player, yet, but...is this sort of normal? Just, what, two new tiles? And a 6-mission campaign?

Again, totally new to IA, had held off mostly because I hate painting and it didn't really have a setting that interested me, but here is Lothal, so...I'm paying attention , now, just...not really getting sold on it. What am I missing?

I'm with you as far as theme goes (although I'm happy for everyone who is excited!) but mechanically a lot of these units seem really interesting. I think this should be a really fun wave just in terms of adding things to the game.

Teaser component spreads don't show everything.

The campaign length for a small-box is 4 for Twin Shadows and 5 for Bespin Gambit if you have the ISB Infiltrators pack.

the release is not fully spoiled. They are holding a lot back. We will know more as we get closer to the release date.

There have been two types of campaigns released for IA, full "big box" campaigns (core, Hoth, Jabba, Heart of the Empire) and "small box" mini-campaigns (Twin Shadows, Bespin Gambit). This is the latter. If it's like the two that came before it it means that you can either run it through as a 4-mission mini campaign using only these missions that focuses on the Lothal story (there are 6 total missions in the box but the campaign has branching paths) or you can bring the missions in as side missions to any of the other campaigns.

They don't have as much content as the big box campaigns, but they're also cheaper. In my opinion they've also generally had the better stories, since they can tell a single narrative without needing to leave a bunch of spaces for side missions that don't relate to the plot.

And as for the map tiles, as others have said the previews only ever show a few tiles as a sample (but there will be a bunch more included in the box)

So, a 6 mission mini-campaign... That's just 2 less than Heart of the Empire (which I personally felt was too short to tell a story efficiently). I REALLY hope the IA team has continued the tradition from the Bespin wave to incorporate ways of adding Ally/Villain pack missions into the campaign. Not only would that be really cool, it would also make the support wave unavoidable for those of us who love longer stories, which means more sales for FFG. Can't wait for this thing to launch next fall (probably)!

They don't do full component spreads in IA teasers like they do with X-Wing and Armada, it would be a huge photograph if they showed you every single map tile and deployment/upgrade card/token that comes even with these small expansions.

Generally small expansions have 12 new map tiles (usually half are big set pieces and half are small connector tiles) 2 new heroes, 2 different new enemies (4 of each) and cardboard tokens for all the characters from the smaller character packs (in this case Thrawn, Hondo, and the 4 Spectres). In addition there are new item cards, supply cards, command cards, Agenda cards, skirmish maps, etc.

So, the Ghost crew come out to 37 points total.

Guess the last 3 points can be achieved via attachments for Skirmish.
