By Thrindal, in Star Wars: Armada

On May 1st at 12:00 P.M. Central Time, we’ll be holding the Star Wars Hyperspace Report at the Fantasy Flight Games Center—a very special presentation to give you a look ahead at some of our upcoming Star Wars products.

?

Nice!

Its time to buckle up, baby!

I fully expect the Armada portion of this report to just be "Don't worry guys, something big is coming!" :P

Please please please let there be an announcement of a fully functional Armada game for iOS.

Also moar shipz pls

Now that all the fields of battle have been released; Armada (Fleet), X-Wing (fighters), Legion (ground), they shall be linked together into a mega campaign where tournaments determine control of areas and we can play with everyone else in a huge faction war!

Two and a half weeks. We need the Bothans to get on it.

It's good to have dreams

I’m sure we will hear about the new playmats (Legion), new terrain bits (Legion), 4 new units (Legion), and a new FFG line of paints (mainly for Legion but all the Peasant Star Wars games can use them if they must.)

This is going to be epic

Live Stream your reaction to the live presentation. :-)

maybe I will. Problem is they are doing it at noon central, which will be 1 pm for me. Gonna be difficult to livestream at that time. might have to take a day off work

Or just schedule a noon meeting and take a late lunch.

It seems lately when there is a good chance we will get new news, we end up with nothing, (GENCON 2017, GAMA 2018.)

instead, I’m going into May 1st expecting nothing. If I'm right, I won’t be disappointed. If im wrong, then I will never be happier to be wrong.

There is literally zero chance they would build a unique event, dedicate this all new event to their Star Wars games, make an announcement for their brand new event, and then.... at the last minute, decide not to announce anything at said event.

It's just not in the cards.

Admiral, long range sensors detect a vessel consistent with an SSD configuration profile.

I have no doubt they will have news for X-Wing, Destiny, and Legion.

Armada and IA on the other hand...

I’m not 100% convinced and afraid to get my hope up at this point.

I imagine this will just be the kind of information we traditionally get in the 'In-Flight Report' at GenCon, but just a few months earlier, to be aligned with SW Worlds.

So new waves of most/all SW games, plus any other cool SW related announcements

Admiral: Is it the Executor?

Ensign: I don't believe so sir.

Admiral: The Mandator 4 then? Or the Eclipse perhaps?

Ensign: none of them sir... it appears to be changing it's shape....

Admiral: It can't be....

Ensign: Sir I can confirm, it is Mega Maid!

Admiral : Ludicrous speed NOW!

Are you saying this is gonna suck?

It could very well blow.

X-Wing yes, we are missing a scum ship from the next wave so that is a given. Legion - again, yes. Destiny JUST had a new expansion revealed, so outside of some card spoilers I don't think it'll be anything too new.

Armada however, is LONG overdue for the "Something big" teased at Gencon last year, (no it was confirmed to NOT be wave 7).

IA has also been soft-spoiled as getting new content with Death Troopers, Thrawn, Clones, and presumably, the rest of the Rebels crew... and especially since all of that is on the WORLDS prizes, it stands to reason that Worlds will be the place they reveal a Rebels wave.

The only speculation here, is if something EVEN NEWER shows up - IE a new expansion for Rebellion, or an all new game.

I'd love an all new game, specifically a board game. Especially if it's truly multiplayer. 3-5 player Star Wars would be bliss for me - (Bounty Hunters competing for the best prize?)

Neither. The shield for planet Druidia is locked and I"m assured the combination is safe.
