compliting a quest, but your to week?

This just came up in our game:

The gypsy draws a quest (due to a spell) it`s the "defeat the sentinel". she is in the inner region. Now she must return right?

But here is the tricky part, she is a little to weak to be able to defeat him, she could have a chans but it is very little. how do you play this? becuse you must complet a quest "when you can" it says.

Can she wait until she is stronger?

Question nr 2:

The pathfinder is on the sentinel, the gypse still must defeat the sentinel, if she lands on the sentinel space, can she choos to be teleported the next turn or must she try to defeat the sentinel, even do she is a little to week?

That Quest as well as the Visit X Quest can be completed at your leisure (though I'll always try to do the Visit Enchantress before hopefully getting any stat gains). She can wait until she is strong enough to fight the Sentinel with a chance of defeating him.

Note that if you have movement just enough to land on the Sentinel (say you roll 2 while starting from Chapel), you encounter the space, you don't fight the Sentinel (need to roll 3+ from Chapel to try and fight him). So in your example, Gypsy ends on the space, encounters Pathfinder and next turn can choose to be teleported where she wants on the Outer Region. Alternatively, she could decide to roll a die for movement and try her luck against the Sentinel. The Quest doesn't compel her to fight him.

Ok. so if she roll two from lets say the chapel, she can`t fight the sentinel, but on her next turn she can choose to be teleported or roll the die and try to fight the sentinel.... but still she can wait until she is stronger. happy.gif thanks.
