Nightsister. . . stuff, I guess.
Don't really know, could represent corrupting influence of the dark side, but there's nothing that comes to me at the moment.
Also, since flavor text is inconsequential, you can still narrate Unleash as Force Lightning. It just won't have the mechanical effects that the Mastery upgrade would provide.

Whatever you like.
Force Destruction is an option. (Legends)
Those wicked blue flames Palpatine used in Star Wars Rebels is also an option. (Canon)
Kamehameha (because why the heck not)
Really, I think the big reason why things are left so vague is so that Players and GMs can get creative with narration. If it stated rigidly that it had to be a forked lightning that goes X distance with a Y width every time you used it, it would get staaaale. Instead, maybe you use it in Engaged range so you describe it as the lightning or flame or whatever encompassing and enveloping your fist while you do a jumping uppercut to their jaw, the energy transferring from your first to their face in the process, damaging their skin and setting them ablaze with the Burn quality.

Actually, Drain Life would fall under the Harm power.

Tendrils of darkness rising up and enveloping the target, lashing out like whips to tear at their flesh.
A dark red cloud engulfing them, burning their flesh and making them cough and wheeze.
Spectral wraiths crawling up their body and gouging out clawfuls of flesh.
Pretty much whatever you think would look neat based on the situation really.
For what it's worth, the description in the book also refers to "envelop[ing] targets in withering, murderous cold", and "a surge of manifest emotion". Depending on your tastes, that could imply a visible dark energy or mist, a blast of flame or other fast-moving energy, or an invisible, excruciating assault.
KungFuFerret's comment is on the money - I think of protect/unleash as being the manipulation of pure force energy, so I think there's a wide range of ways it could manifest, and you could justify any of: A lightsider in a moment of desperate anger manifesting a red, fiery blast like a big blaster bolt; an evil dark side warlock creating an inky, chilling indigo mist; and a fallen jedi throwing up their hand, lashing out with unseen energy, and their opponents falling to the ground with scorched flesh.
There was also the powers "Malachia" and "Morichro" from "the old days". They could fall under Heal/Harm, but you could probably fluff them into Protect/Unleash...
Yes , and protect can be Vader deflecting a blaster bolt with his palm, or if can be freezing a blaster bolt in mid air. The powers are vague for good reason, it leaves the creative and narrative side of the powers in the hands of the players and GMs, the mechanics of it are secondary.
