The rules for placing the objectives are fairly confusing to me.

Where it reads

1. Which objective tokens should be chosen?

.....If there are more than 4 objective tokens of a particular objective category, select only four and return the rest to the box. Next, sort your remaining objective tokens into main objectives and secondary objectives. Finally divide them into sub-groups base on their objective categories.

Seeing that both teams have to have objectives in story mode and there are only a few objective markers on the board why would I have enough markers to place that I can make sub-groups. Also the rules imply that when they are placed it will reveal the 2 skills necessary to complete the task. It is not possible to be able to tell where the markers go without actually looking at the token's face up side.

I guess what I'm getting at is would it be easy to simply say choose 3 unique objective markers and 1 secondary and then roll for deployment?
