Since Bara have not problem of gold and moreover they haven't "legendary event" I will play for sure some crested holy and confession 3x. I don't know if this will make the cut, but 2 gold, 2 icons, crested is not unfair.

we aren't saying its unfair or not costed well. we are just questioning what it adds to the mix for baratheon. 2 gold and 6 slots for confession doesn't help rush, there are 3-4 better houses for control decks, and its not like bara is lacking in holy crests. plus she is an ally.

in the vein of yet another lateral move, are you going to run this card for her crest or Selyse Baratheon who is the same cost, same crest, same icons, same STR, not an ally, provides a tangible benefit from her text box, bodyguard/dupable to survive the reset, and provides a trait for you to use your own red wedding on to get 2 power.

Yes she is a weenie, which I have been asking for, but i've been asking for a weenie that fills a hole or provides a benefit to supplement an existing strategy, not add a new one to it.

Just to be correct, somebody in the net is saying this could be a fake... anyway, if this is real I think it will take place in some decks... Surely not Rush ones, but in future asshai themes one yes. We all knows this will not have the same impact of Melisandre, but personally I will try this...

again, not saying she has to be melisendre power level, just add something, not replace something.

if you want an assai deck then click on the link for Bearer of the Light above. She makes an Assai deck runable, why? because she makes the big hitting assai's, army of the faithful and Fiery Followers playable. The spoiled 'maybe' chick only adds flavor. ~Salt doesn't win a cooking competition.

Lars, no problem if you think differently :-) Personally with a deck based on melisandre core set and 3x army of the faithfully and other holy sinergy, I'm happy to run this card 3x. Adding also confession 3x. If you don't like no problem! I think bad cards are others like the lanni "pickpocket".

finally I have to admit that some cards like dayne reserves was a "wowa" when I first saw them then, when tried, were a delusion... maybe this will be the case, but personally I will give it a try (and I hope one day we will arrive to have not refugee in decks... it is so boring)

You are right, but I hope that day will come :-) It is a aspect that I don't like the fact to have too much auto include.

Next thing I wait a lot is a Clansman themed deck... too have the possibility to play lannister (I love Tyrion but Hate all other lions :-))

...I'm guessing that the card is a fake, based on the way the card is otherwise a bit smudgy (from scanning or just inaccuracy of the original picture format), but the numbers and such are awfully sharp in comparison. Just a guess tho.

And yes, this card wouldn't be half bad, if there was just any comparable support for holy as there is for war or noble. Although, Drowned Fanatic and Zealot of Light seem an awful lot like two cards from a cycle, which makes me think holy won the vote on the cycle of cards for a certain crest. Hopefully there's also either a good event, plot or some such coming along, that will make it worthwhile to run holy crest characters. Again, pure guess work, and I haven't had a look at the full spoiler list for the third chapter pack yet...

Listen - the CCG era Plot for Holy Crests was solid - it pretty much let holy characters not kneel to atatck. If THAT were coming back, it might get my interest in terms of assembling a Holy crest deck (though you still need a way to add renown to weenies to make this a threat).
