So with the new FAQ, i could be playing a 800pt game and still only have 2 flotillas? Seeing as my friend and I are going to a tournament where we as a team play 1 600pt fleet this seems a really short sighted move for ffg.
Has anyone heard anything about what happend with fleets over 400pts? Like something similar to the squadron 1/3 fleet size limit?
New rules only apply to official Organised Play FFG tournaments - everything else is as many flotillas as you like (and/or up to the TO)
you playing more than 400 points... therefore your outside of the normal tournament regulations which is what limits flotillas... ergo its up to the Organisers to keep this limit or not.
As an example, the CC fleets which can go up to 500 points do not have any flotilla number restriction. Only tournament format does
