What's your plan for this? I've been recently trialling a very similar list with mixed results:

Rieekan's Return

Faction: Rebel Alliance
Points: 399/400

Commander: General Rieekan

Assault Objective: Most Wanted
Defense Objective: Fleet Ambush
Navigation Objective: Solar Corona

[ flagship ] MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100 points)

- Strategic Adviser ( 4 points)
- Ordnance Experts ( 4 points)
- Reinforced Blast Doors ( 5 points)
- External Racks ( 3 points)
- Wide-Area Barrage ( 2 points)
= 155 total ship cost

Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36 points)
- Garel's Honor ( 4 points)
- Cham Syndulla ( 5 points)
- External Racks ( 3 points)
= 48 total ship cost

MC30c Scout Frigate (69 points)
- Admonition ( 8 points)
- Lando Calrissian ( 4 points)
- Ordnance Experts ( 4 points)
- H9 Turbolasers ( 8 points)
- Assault Proton Torpedoes ( 5 points)
= 98 total ship cost

Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36 points)
- Hondo Ohnaka ( 2 points)
- Boarding Engineers ( 2 points)
= 40 total ship cost

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)
- Comms Net ( 2 points)
= 20 total ship cost

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)
- Comms Net ( 2 points)
= 20 total ship cost

1 A-Wing Squadron ( 11 points)
1 Z-95 Headhunter Squadron ( 7 points)
= 18 total squadron cost

It was originally with 3xGR-75s and better squads but due to the FAQ I had to upgrade a transport to a HH.

Idea being to block large ships with the small transports and pen in your target (ideally an ISD) with the Profundity drop of Garel's Honour - then unleash lots of black dice from the MC-75 and MC-30 as they fly around the back.

The blocking trap is great, the only problem is making sure you kill enough points worth to make up for losing 3-4 ships and as it stands I'm not sure it is. If you can fly it right and are heading into a dual ISD heavy meta you can do well but otherwise when you win you win small and when you lose it tends to lose big!

Played a casual tournament at the weekend against experienced players with nasty lists and it did ok, could have done much better and I have some tweaks in mind. Comms Noise Podcast XVIII discusses the games.

Anyway, enough about my list! What are you planning on dropping with Profundity, I presume the Corvette but not sure why you'd want a Corvette over a HH? And Station Assault...could you use Rieekan to keep one alive? Not sure why you'd want to, obstruction maybe...

Have you flown it yet?

I don't own any HH ships at the moment, which is why I have a CR-90 joining me for the ride, but the plan is to drop in the MC-30 round2-3 when things get interesting while the big ship and cr-90 etc move up on their own.

I've played a match as Raddus and dropped a MC-80Star Cruiser in that game, which easily ate through Thrawns ISD, but the game was 1000 points and I still had 2 more ISDs to worry about ahah..

Rieekan allows the CR-90 to stay as an obstruction or allow the MC75 or 30 to get their shots off, mission wise station assault because in this list they either have to give me 80 points in stations or shoot them and direct attacks away from the MC30/75..

I like your list, similar to another I wrote for when I get HH, also went with Cham Syndulla! But with Raddus as General and Hyperspace both the HH with Cham and MC30 with ACMs and there is some serious worry and pain coming for an ISD near you. I'll be flying this exact list though that I wrote on Wednesday! I'll do a battle report and post it.

@Kendraam, this was the fleet that drops the MC-30. Forgot this one was limited to dropping the CR-90.

Looks nice - with Raddus I started with dropping a big ship, then went to the MC-30 which worked as well as if not better as if you place it right you can still get off 10+ dice. However it's trying to keep your target at close range which made me think of Rieekan and dropping a HH instead to soften up and pin the target for the MC-75 to hammer.

Not sure on the VCX, seems redundant unless you're keeping it as insurance against token farmer lists?

Raddusing a big ship is fun, was nice bringing some pain with Mon Karren, but like you say you can still unload some nice dice from a MC-30.. but positioning is everything! I played a big game (1000points) on Blockade Run as well! 2 mc-30s broke the blockade without firing a single shot all game, or getting shot themselves! aha they had one chance in the game to bring an ISD down, but fate forced me to do Mon Karren first and the ISD was no more after..

So bringing one in with Raddus does require some foresight when putting it down, just so it's in the game, would need to practice it! I like your thinking on Rieekan though, when I purchase some HH I'll have to add one into the Rieeks list, drop it in with cham, hit and smash, rieeken(if needed then), follow up with MC-30 and MC-75 from behind to finish up.

Yeah VCX is purely insurance against farming lists, @PodRacer has been known to run multiple Lambda and token missions... ;)

Another take on Rieek, not sure on this one though, MCs are your bif hitters and the neb can dish it out via salvation on ships or crippling Draven AA of 2 blue 1 any

My thoughts on Rieekan in this age is that *every* activation should be a big hitter, which 3 of yours are here.

Ultimate vengeance

Cheers man, I do like the list with Salvation in, when its not helping provide pain with the MC30/75, it's Dravening 2 blue dice out its side arc *evil laugh*

Found Rieekan has been working wonders so far on the 75, like he was made for it

My first ever Rieekan list a long time ago was Admo Foresight Yav and Salv with Keyan around. Didnt really matter what you killed they would unleash **** in return.

As you say the mc75 seems to really embody this concept. You kill me and I will kill you in return.

IMO a VCX is always with taking for the opportunitistic use of Strategic (minefields, token farmer lists, capturing your own VIP), Relay (almost always useful with non-rogues), 8 hull to chew through and decently capable anti-squadron fire (even better with Toryn).

Yav and Keyan, what a duo, 12 potential damage to leave your opponent dazed, confused, and slightly violated..

As you say though, Rieekan works best on ships that're big hitters, what would you prefer out of the salv list and this one below..?

CR-90 replaces salv but gets similar splash damage as both MCs ACMs via its own HIE, with draven incase of a more squad heavy list. Used this CR-90 in a recent game to effect, stripping down a demolisher owned by @PodRacer
