what if ncp1 or pc1 tries to use the basic bind power on npc2 or pc2?

I see the Discipline vs. Discipline check isnt until mastery level so how does the npc2/pc2 resist it?

Any Force power use against a PC or Nemesis NPC requires an opposed Discipline roll. What the Mastery upgrade gives you for a successful check is the ability to stagger (or critically injure) your opponent.

But if the Force user is a pc and the target is an unimportant rival, or a minion, then no Discipline Check is required. Simply roll the Force dice and figure out how crushed the target is.
