Teamwork question

By Soakman, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

Hey all! With the release of Carolyn, I have more reason to be interested in teamwork. Normally, as a guardian, you don't really want to hand off your weapons etc to other people so I have hardly ever included it except as an out-of-class choice.

My question is this: Can you use teamwork to give a signature asset to another investigator? For example, could I give somebody Foolishness? The text on the card specifies that you can heal the horror of foolishness as if the horror was on Carolyn. This could get kind of wonky if given to another investigator. But that being said, it does mean that if this is possible, she can pass a pretty substantial stat buffer off to a teammate and keep Peter Sylvestre to herself.

Thoughts? Is there a teamwork ruling that covers signature assets already? The cards say "so-and-so's deck only" but once it is in play, it's not 'part of your deck' or rather it is still part of your deck, just not under your control. I'm pretty sure teamwork can pass off out-of-class cards to other investigators for their use (Wendy with a shotgun for instance) so I don't think it would be out of the question that a signature asset could be traded over.

Team work says that you can trade any Number of item assets or ally assets, so Yep you can trade any asset you like as long as assets itself does not prevent it. I don`t remember any assets that says so. Not even Duke... So you Are free to trade!

The official FAQ says "Another investigator cannot control another investigator's signature cards" (under Definitions and Terms, Signature Cards). So you can't pass them with Teamwork.

Thank you. I knew someone would know where to look. I should check the FAQ more frequently. It's a shame that it stymies that idea, but teamwork is still pretty worthwhile with her.
