The AT-ST Costs Too Much.

I leave the Twin Blaster at home.

Honestly, with everything currently being played, I absolutely find I get the most bang for my buck with a Mortar + Grenade upgrade on the ATST. Main gun + Mortar at range 4+, Grenade + Main Gun at Range 2-. It's been incredibly effective. Lots of split fire.

Hows everyone finding the 88 twin blaster, I really want to like it for its range 3 but feel the grenade launcher does more damage thanks to blast. Blast effectively gives you 2 extra hits when heavy cover is in play. But the AtSts big strength is out ranging the opponent which the launcher doesn't do well at all.

I've recently given up on it. For the points it just doesn't significantly add to the dice pool. Without any surge conversion, I find that when I get an aim token I generally already have 2 dice in need of a reroll and generally it just seems to add to the pile of blanks I can't do anything about. I'm also rarely getting 4 hits that need to be converted to crits. Being RNG 3 instead of RNG 4 has consistently forced me to get too close and move into threat of things like Ions. I've had the most luck with nothing but the Mortar on it, but I am curious about playing it more aggressively with the Grenade launcher, but thus far I haven't had much concern over finding useful targets for the mortar. As people switch to Veers and Leia, I think having a way to pretty trivially get them to Suppressed/Panic level will be nice.

ATST is probably so spot on for its cost vs lethality that it seems overcosted. Also, dont load it up with ALL upgrades, youre just wasting points.

You want overcosted? T47. Thats overcosted.

Two bike squads do, for the same cost, more damage, have more hp (almost twice) are easier to use, but don't have armour and are vulnerable to melee.
