Does that mean the the Holiday Special is required before we go see this?

Not to worry, those events happen later in the timeline. ?

Corellia? I've heard such a name in the Legends before...

I just re-read the original Star Wars book by George Lucas. On page 138, Luke asks Han

"Where's your sense of chivalry, Han?"

Han considered. "Near as I can recall, I traded it for a ten-carat Chryopaz and three bottles of good brandy about five years ago on Commenor."

The Solo movie is suppose to take place about ten years before A New Hope, so who knows if this will come up in this movie. Interesting if nothing else.

I've heard such a name in canon before...

Han Solo: Han Solo. I'm captain of the Millennium Falcon. Chewie says you're looking for a passage to the Alderaan system.
Ben Kenobi: Yes indeed, if it's a fast ship.
Han Solo: Fast ship? You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?
Ben Kenobi: No. Should I have?
Han Solo: It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. I've outrun Imperial starships, not the local bulk-cruisers, mind you. I'm talking about the big Corellian ships now. She's fast enough for you, old man. What's the cargo?

I'm not sure I've read this book before.

Yeah, but that's only 27.1 in human years.

Meh, seems pretty generick. Not feeling up for another wink wink audience movie with mostly references and jokes.

Those troopers looks cool though.

You think Chewie's old now?!

In The Force Awakens he's just reached the ripe old age of 234 years old.

And considering that wookiees have an average life expectancy of 400, he's still gonna be kicking around for some time.

Unless a planet falls on Him or something.

Gonna need an intermission at that rate!

Isn't that the same length as TFA, which includes credits (probably ten minutes worth)? An intermission, give me a break...blade runner 2049 should have been 10-15 minutes longer.

Same run time as Force Awakens, Rogue One, and Phantom Menace.

Just saying.
