I'm surprised that the Defiance is occasionally mentioned in good standing across a few threads

I remember the mc80 "flying turd" not panning out terribly well after the initial Akbar craze. I especially thought the release of the seemingly more efficient "winged turd" would relegate it to niche status. Glad that doesn't seem to be the case

Defiance never went away. The flying turf comments were only in some circles. Elsewhere it won multiple wave 2 regionals and has been a stApple ever since.

Well "flying turd" was less a commentary on its quality and more on its appearence :P

Real talk, Raddus scares the foul chocolate straight out my pucker hole.

You sir, owe me a new keyboard if I can't clean out all the coffee I just spit all over it after reading this.

I wouldn't do Intel Officers because you should be focusing fire on the same target with multiple shots anyway. Use those points to get a Comms Net GR75 or improve your anti-squad screen.

Ive used both with IO and without, and from experience if you can take it, take it.

They both end in the same thing(killing the target) , but IO can make it happen faster, meaning less chance to take losses and more time to go shoot up another ship.

As for sqd support, unfortunately its a MSU fleet. They kinda suffer from a) minimum sqd support and b) too many targets to protect. Might as well put the points into killing ships and try destroy the carrier.

Just bought an MC-75 myself and painted it up, so ready to give it a go and test raddus out. I've never been one for more than 1-2 GRs anyway so their nerf isn't bad for myself, I still have nightmares writing a list that works/I like.....

Mothma, 4 MC30s, 3 2 GR75s.

Always been a fan of the MC30, I like the idea of it and an MC-75, raddusing in the mc30 into the sweet spot.

I like my squadron lists though so the Yav nerf is a bit bitter but fair cop as it was a pocket rocket before, got some hard thinking ahead to write a list..

Interesting to see Defiance still rearing its head, used to be my go to in the early waves, may have to revisit...

On the MC75, ords or armour?

I like the armor varient better.

Expanded Launchers/ACM or Ordnance Pods/Flechette Trops

on the second one, I assume you get two normal attacks and then you can attack squads as a 3rd? Then proc the Flechettes.. or would ACM and more black die serve better?

Squad wise atm looking at vcx, hera, shara, tycho but so unsure on what squads to run and work atm

Assault Concussion Missiles are my preferred Ordnance on the Ordnance Cruiser as it helps when you can't double arc, but when you do, it hits like a truck.

So why use a CR-90 for the Profundity?

CR-90? MC-30...

You can't drop the MC with Profundity - it has command 2.

****, you sire are correct! Was thinking of the other list with Raddus on nor Rieeks

The real answer is you drop a Hammerhead Corvette. That way your rebel fleet still had all MC class ships. Y'know, like:

MC-30

MC-75

MC-80 Home one

MC-80 Liberty

And... MC Hammer! Stop! Hammer Time! Ya can't touch this!
