So, if I write gucci on my bag, its a gucci bag now?

No, but if Gucci writes Gucci on your Bag, and then sells it to you, its a Gucci bag.

If the owners of Star Wars, (or their authorised representatives) say its Star Wars, its Star Wars.

They're the Owners.

It is literally their call.

Legally they can.

Wether or not we like the fact that Authority has that... well... Authority ... is irrelevant.

They do.

Yes, legally they can, thats what Im saying too, but you know just as well I do, 7 and 8th has little or less to do with Star Wars. You dont have the feeling youre watching Star Wars, and when you come out of the cinema, you feel empty, because you got nothing. Its just milking the frenchise, without putting in effort, fantasy.

I quite enjoyed them.

I didn't get to see them in the Cinema.

In fact, I only say TLJ for the first time last week . But of course, every bastard spoiled it for me on day one anyway, so who cares.

Just like I have a 5 year old... I really enjoyed Rebels right along side him.

Is it exactly the same as the Star Wars of Old? No.
Is it the Star Wars I would make? No.

But it is Star Wars . Even if only because its the only new Star Wars we get .

You're allowed to hate it. You really are. Nothing wrong with that at all. So go on Hating it.

But it is Star Wars .

And you cannot take that from me, or anyone else.

At least rebels had a story. 7th and 8th was a copy of the old trilogy, twisted a bit. Even aestetic wise, it was far from everything we knew as star wars. Yes, it is star was for those who grow up now, but those who grow up on the ot... this is a mere shadow of an empty skeleton. Never ment to take this away from everyone, but not only the kids exists, we 'veterans' are here too.

But saying "This is not Star Wars" is tantamount to saying... If you like this, You don't like Star Wars . Which is a half step away from I like better, more real things than you .

You are setting yourself up to be nothing but Elitist and Segregationist .

Don't do that.

Don't be that.

Also, I apologise to everyone for my vehement passion.

It has not been a good couple of days, and this ticked me off more than it should have...

@Coldhands I did not intend to be so confrontational, and I apologise it has gotten to that point, although I do not want to do is both the disservice of pretending the conversation never happened :)

I just want the best for people, and inclusion for people... Everyone has a place at the table.

*doesnt feel like a ferrari

I for one appreciate your perspective Dras. I wish people would just let people like what they like without saying or insinuating everyone else is wrong if they don’t agree. Make your point and then move on. Welcome to the internet I guess...

The Yavaris Nerf States they can't move THIS ACTIVATION. So the activation of the Yavaris. If you have Adar Tallon and Fighter Coordinate on the Independence, have it casually fling a B-wing in front of the Yavaris, fresh with Adar, and then activate Yavaris... Your golden. The B-wing didn't move during the Yavaris activation so it's golden. You can even coordinate it AFTER the Yavaris goes again.

I imagine The first FAQ on this is actually to correct the wording. Technically it has to say the "Squads you activate can attack twice if they have not moved during this activation. If they do so, they may not be moved for the rest of your activation." Since it's even just a little bit ambiguous currently. There's an argument to be made, and I know I'm going to have to answer this to players as a community organizer already, that it doesn't say you can't move them after they shot twice. It uses casual language not technical precise language and implies an agreement that you won't move it, but it actually doesn't say not to. It doesn't actually give directions to the player to not move it. But then again heaven forbid FFG ever actually worded anything with out ambiguity. We should all understand what it means but I promise you will have to answer newbies asking this question at some point. When you do, just imagine me nodding my head over in a corner with a know-it-all grin.

This Nerf barely effects me

It affects me more indirectly than directly, for the most part.

The one fleet that it really hurts is my Hera fleet, because daddy needs his officer slots and flotillas are the way to get them.

It hit that Ackbar fleet that I used in the tournament earlier this year, the one you missed.

FTFY.

They screwed the fleet I was more proud about. A fleet able to play first and second. Really funny when you put a BTAvenger on the board with just 1 point bid, they scream First! And see my objectives. I guess I may rebuild with SAd and 23 new points for upgrades and squadrons. But man, it hurts.

My worlds list is ruined..,
