Do thrown weapons use strength or agility for damage?

here's the thrown quality from the book:
"
Thrown: When used to make a ranged attack, these weapons may
have fortune dice associated with the attacker’s Strength added to
the action pool instead of fortune dice associated with the attacker’s
Agility. The attacker may also choose to use his Strength instead
of Agility when determining damage with a thrown weapon
"
Not sure how I missed it, probably because I was looking just at ranged combat and not weapon qualities for the rule. That's fantastic - in the sense that I think it makes perfect sense.
