So with DotV being released later this week I'm curious: how many people who don't main Phoenix will play them for the tournament, just because it's a Phoenix set and why wouldn't you? Is there anyone making a point of not playing Phoenix at the release? Curious to hear people's plans!
Disciples of the Void Release
I'm still playing around with them as a side deck, but if my FLGS does any actual release events I plan to stick with the Lion.
Even if I weren't a dedicated Crab it'd be kind of silly for me to switch given my current winning streak at local tourneys. Plus I'm not sure if the upcoming event is going to count for claiming the store or not.
I'm playing my Unicorn deck and splashing Phoenix to mark the occasion.
If only a Shadowlands faction had already been playable, I would have honored the Phoenix by making them the first clan I corrupt.
As an aside, it's released today, so Happy Clan Pack Day!
Our event is Saturday, so I'm likely going to stick to one of the decks I already have built and roll with that. Definitely looking forward to exploring options going forward though.

I am a little unclear here. Is it in stores today? Its listed as shipping which can take a week, which was updated yesterday, so extrapolate out to the 11th but it does say the 5th on the page.
I received a call from my FLGS yesterday that it will be available for purchase today. Meaning, they got it in yesterday... and haunted my dreams with it all night!!!

I know pretty much everything had been spoiled, but I was quite surprised that the ancestral sword was not in the clan pack. Seems the natural place for it. I guess the good news is that the other clans won't have to wait for their clan packs to get their ancestral swords.

They specifically said that Ofushukai would be in a later Dynasty Pack, not in Disciples of the Void, in the announcement for the novella.

Kakita Shiro is correct, but I completely agree with HirumaShigure, the clan pack would have been perfect for the ancestral swords/armors.

I just got mine, it's the original version without the stipulation.
I am loving Tadakatsu in my monk build Dragon deck. He is very useful and has amazing stats for cost. Now we just need Mitsu and its a go!
