It was already said in Breath of the Kami (first Elemental Cycle pack) product page that the pack will feature a new Stronghold.

Yes, I get that. I’m asking if that specific pic would make it a possible contender for a Stronghold.

And if not, then it would make a sensational 5-star hotel to visit, complete with hallway guards and shugenja walking (floating!) about on each floor. (Just don’t ask for the keys to Room 237). !!! ??

Oh, sorry! I was talking about Karasu statement, " I reckon that we're going to be getting a new stronghold in each Dynasty Pack." Even if the other product pages did not mention new Strongholds, the description of BotK may be an indication of that we're getting them anyway in the Cycle.

Sure, the boxart for Tainted Lands surely is one of it, a Stronghold or a Province

They slipped in a teaser for a new card in the announcement article for the multiplayer beta. Pretty sure it wasn't that way when the article first dropped.

It looks like Dispatch is card 99 of the cycle, which is a bummer for Unicorn at the Gen Con Kotei. I hope Uni get other cards like this to help boost them up a bit in the first four packs of the Elemental cycle.

As the unicorn stand now, I'm incline to agree, but, it will depend on what unicorn characters we see down the pipeline.

If the ponies and up having a charcter with a strong static ability or something that can be used multiple times per turn and actually impacts a battle beyond moving in and out, the ability to keep bringing someone in like that could be abusive.

Personally I was hoping for Unicorn to get some sort of harpoon action.

Interesting. I might play her. Non-unique is tricky, but Walking the Way is pretty convenient. And I could use more reasons to run Benten's Touch. I've been finding the cost of bowing a shugenja on that one pretty difficult.

If it helps, in the AMA they acknowledged that Elemental Cycle is their first opportunity to address Unicorn problems that surfaced from core environment, so it reportedly should be helping to correct those issues.

I’m assuming that this card is intended to work ‘better’ with Unicorn’s new Stronghold.

We know there’s a “ Ikoma Ikehata” Lion card coming up, but nothing more.
