Broke down and bought a 3d printer. One of my first test prints was a death trooper.

Not a perfect print but a good base line. I'll mount it on a base and use it for a trooper leader.

Printed this tonight. Moisture evaporator I found on thingiverse. Still learning the machine. 3rd completed print.

I am tempted to do the same but it seems like a lot of fussing around is required. Which one did you get?

I got an anet a8. Spent 5 hours on assembly and have about as much time making it print good. So far it's been money well spent. It is a huge learning curve as well.

Did some more printing and have 2 building printed that are terrain and double as troop storage. This one holds 7 minis cards and command token. Thingiverse find. I like it but not enough to do both my imperial and rebel forces.

The building looks kind of cool. But it seems unlikely that anyone would print a whole bunker for each squad. Still, it must be pretty cool looking around for buildings and terrain.

I was looking at it as unit storage with multiple uses. With settings I have to print it's a 8 hour print. I'll wind up doing something different for unit storage.

Bunkers and vaporators in primer. Printer needs more tweaking but these will make good present for my son for his birthday.

Got to sit down and figure out colors on 1 of my rebel squads. Leader is basically done except a little face detail. Rest of the unit has shirts and pants in color and will be finished sunday.

Outside of a little more shade application im calling these guys done. Squad Jenkins about to go search some imperial bunkers for their friends in squad leroy.

Picked up a copy of priorty supplies. Well done models that build up easy and look great. I done a crate as a test mule for the rest and another with just a little nuln oil.

Outside of playing a few games the last momth has been pretty hectic for me. I finished up the crates out of priority supplies this weekend and for got to get pics. Since it didnt come with land mines for the new objective pack abd its one of my favorite battlefield conditions i needed mines.

Thingiverse had a nice mine. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3023694 fired up the 3d printer and ran 7 mines off so i had test material for color patterns and settings on the machine.

Decided on makiking bikes match my squads. Bike for each squad. Top bike is almost done and is mostly imperal standard colors. Done it a while ago. 2nd bike is just a guy who has spent to much time in the field making upgrades.

Third one down goes with my shadow squad.

Bottom was done to match my red squad

Worked on my rebels some. Im basing alot of units now and ill go back and wash and highlight later. Han and leia finally got based as well. Sniper strike team is one of my favorites so far.

Boba fett awaiting next bounty. I just ran with a color scheme. Ill do another movie version before long.
