How come no one runs this gunship?

-alliance overhaul, Rage, Finn, FAA, and shield upgrade.

AP-5

-Pulsed Ray shield, Inspiring Recruit, R2 astromech

How come no one runs this Wulfwarro? He can take any manuever and get a target lock focus shot and has his reinforce. Every time I run him, he is great. I've posted this Norra AP-5 combo and no one seems to like it, but I enjoy flying it and honestly, not sure what to put with wulfwarro at 59 points. AP-5 grants a rage to Norra who takes a green manuever to lose the stress with the inspiring recruit and can boost or barrel roll into range to get a target lock for a 5 die fully modded attack shot. Now Wulfwarro can even help Norra or AP5 be tougher. But forgetting that combo, seriously this Wulfwarro seems great. What am I missing?

With that many points invested you'll draw a lot more aggro and probably want to switch to Wulf. He's better geared to being a main target, while Lowhhrick is naturally better suited to being support.

it's not a bad build, I like it on Wulf better personally as he gets slapped a bit harder and gets to hit back even harder

But NEVER put Rage on Norra! It is WAY too risky, I've tried it. Unless she is the one carrying Inspiring Recruit, but even then, you're gonna end up in the late game with no TL.

It's not necessarily bad, in fact, can be really good, but in competitive play it has lots of bad matchups that people don't want to risk. Point fortresses people will tend to leave Wulf alone and kill everything else if they can and win on points. Anything with Miranda, Poe, Kylo etc that has a ship worth more than Wulf, never has to attack him to win. Other ships, that can stay behind him endgame, will let him stay for last also like Quickdraws, Inquisitors, etc. You basically just have a 3 attack full mod ship for 41pts with no repositioning. If they never attack Wullf, a Liberator saves you a lot of points.

You are also relying on locks and focus mods, which any rebel Fenn list will lick their chops at right now in the meta. Lockdown Wullf until non-regen Norra is dead, wont take long.

Also, he isnt the scariest thing in the list, with a raging/Finn Norra that is alot easier to take down first.

Casual play, Wulf is a tough sucker, and can stand up to most other casual lists. I have fun putting wulf on the table.

To proc his ability, you have to make him REALLY REALLY mean or REALLY REALLY important to the list, like Selflessness/Sabine carrier, or HSCP/GUNNER. Something that if they dont attack will ruin their day. I like Predator/Finn/Maul accompanied by Ezra w/ Elusiveness tossing him his focus token. If they dont attack Wulf, it is 4 dice full mods all day long. If they do attack him, it is 5/6 dice until they wipe him out. Been tinkering with a Finn/marksmanship build also for the "F.U. rebel Fenn"
