Scouts got nerfed, conveniently just in time for the new cancer to arrive and fill in the void. Right before dominating for years. Ever since TLT was released it was a problem. K-wings were a NPE by design.

I mean I think it is a mistake to believe that FFG has no control over how powerful ships are when they release it, or that they are not aware of the effect of broken ships on sales.

They might not be intending to keep the same ships broken forever. But if you think their aim is to remove god tier products for good, you are lying to yourself. That is just not fiscally responsible.

There will always be broken stuff.

Interesting statement. So, after TLT, what is next on the broken list of NPE? Do we count just specific ships, pilots, upgrades, combos? Maybe we can make an impromptu ban list! Probably deserves its own thread...

Ban lists are not the answer. I hope, nay, I wish for FFG to actually go back, fix the broken stuff, bring the old ships up to speed and then every one may go on their merry way.

But at this point this is wishful thinking, ignoring reality.

While FFG was "fixing" things with the Great FAQ, they were already out with the next broken thing. What makes you think it will be different this time?

2. Turret efficiency overall, please can we play the piloting and maneuvering game again?

Well, if we are to have broken ships, better have them distributed evenly between all factions.

That is a preferable alternative to the current state of affairs, and it might even happen one day. A complete re-balance, is sadly, out of the picture right now.
