Rex Bomb

I have this silly idea for an in your face Rex squad where he explodes. Would appreciate any input on what I can hammer out or hammer in!

Captain Rex: 21

-sabines masterpiece

-stealth device

-zeb orrelios

-dead mans switch

Captain Nym: 43

-Push the limit

-Twin laser turret

-trajectory sim

-bomblet generator

-Havoc

-genius

-long range scanners

Cobalt leader: 36

-ordinance silos

-minefield mapper

-deflective plating

-proximity mines

-advanced optics

So I know it’s a cluster, but my idea is placing proximity mines maneuvering zeb to where he can give suppressive fire condition and keeping Nym as close as possible for the alpha strike, dropping bombs with “genius” and then keeping them from exploding, while with cobalt leaders ability takes the 1 agility away. Meanwhile Rex is a dude that’s gonna explode eventually.

Still pretty green in the game, so any info is valuable!

Stealth Device doesn't seem necessary on Rex - otherwise it's a cool build.

I don't like PTL on Nym. I think Predator or VI are your best choices.

Colbalt Leader doesn't seem strong enough unless you have more mines - for example, loading up Nym with mines instead of bomblets.

Also, minefield mapper really isn't that great when you can only use it one one mine.

Yeah I figured stealth device can prolly leave, maybe engine upgrade? As far as cobalt, wouldn’t ordinance silos give him more mines to lay out with minefield mapper, or should I just give him traject. Sim?

I like minefield mapper with cluster mine. It can really help funnel your opponent where you want him to go.

Ordnance silos still only lets you minefield map one mine, unfortunately. And he can't use TrajSim on mines
