Man would I like to see a Rouge One character expansion: Jyn, Cassian, Base, Chirrut, Bodil AND K-2 and Galen who could both be used by the imperials as a pre Rogue One Galen and ordinary Imp droid, maybe for melee support in a unit.

I'm hoping we will see rogue one stuff. I'd say there's a really good chance since it's new and in the gcw era

I'd play the **** out a Cassian commanded army of spec ops and saboteur cells.

What about things like basic medical droids, targeter droids, some support options, and the like.

Something like the Targeter Remote being an upgrade for any non-vehicle unit. It doesn't have to take climb/clamber checks. Grants Precise 1 (or upgrades for the squad), it doesn't have a normal attack, has a defense surge, and a special attack that would do Ion damage rather than normal (Zaps them for some distracting pain, but no real injury).

Medical Droids and Ammunition Droids could be based off the ones from the Battlefront series. Neither adds to the actual attack for the squad. The Medical droid gets to roll a red attack dice with surge, if it succeeds, it restores one wound to an ally within 1 short or it's own unit (Can recover lost troops). Ammunition Droid perhaps makes things like the launcher not need an action to reload and gives the squad Pierce 1 while it's active.

Medical droids are almost guaranteed in my mind. They show up in ESB and the Han Solo movie Armada, Imperial Assault and just make sense for upgrades in future releases
