I really want to see the other major armies from the movies. I'll take it a step further and say that as the game develops I would like to see the various characteristics of the factions impact their play style a bit to provide different feels to each army.

What I envision:

• Rebels - Jack of all trades, very well-rounded
• Empire - A lot of powerful heavy vehicles
• Galactic Republic - Jedi and Force Powers featuring prominently in their strategy
• Separatist Alliance - Very swarmy, LOTS of figures but low cost / low power
• Resistance - Specialist focused, hit-and-run, kind of like the recent Rebel units announced
• First Order - High value, very powerful Trooper units. Quality over quantity

I think these would be very thematic, and would also mix up the types of enemies that we could be up against. Can easily think of 10 commanders for the first 4 factions, and I expect we will be close to that for Resistance and FO once the last movie and some of the expanded universe stuff releases.

I have thoughts on how I would work in additional factions that would be more "neutral" (Scum) but I'm less set on that and more interested in absolutely wanting to see the above 6.

YES!! This is exactly what I want to see. I want all eras, all armies have different pros and cons, and I want to see everything Star Wars regardless of what Star Wars it is.

I would love to see a "Bespin" Lando along with Wing Guard but if he appears in the game at all we will most likely get a General Calrissian as Leia and Han both seem to RotJ themed . Of course I am biased because I plan on making a Bespin table.

I would love to see Wedge Antilles with an X-wing Pilot squad along with with Imperial Pilots both Tie Fighter and AT-AT.

Another character I would like to see is Admiral Ackbar. I know there will be a lot of "He wouldn't fit in ground combat" and "He is a Starfighter Assault leader" but, he wasn't born into his position. I am sure he had to work his way up through the ranks. The occasion could arise where his expertise was needed or necessary.

I agree, and there is a value to a game having intentional "tier 2" options, especially those that play quite uniquely. They can be fresh experience for grizzled veterans tiring of the regular game who need a shakeup, and more importantly they can be a way for experienced players to take on newer players on more even ground, without the experienced player having to intentionally build or play to less than their full abilities.

Announcement a fleshed our CIS expansion. Trash mobs of droids, commando squads of... Commando Droids, super battle droids, and Destroyers. Oh... yes... the destroyers.

Mmm... destroyers. Second best thing about TPM. Can’t move and shoot, move 3 when they do move. Nearly immune to anything not intended to bring down tanks if they don’t vlntairly move. Come apart like paper if they do. Disturbingly good anti-infantry power and garbage anti-tank.

Just give me the droidekas/destroyers and I’ll buy this game.

I agree, if only because reenacting the Rogue One hallway scene with all the Fleet Troopers replaced with Gungans and ending the rampage by force throwing Jar Jar off a building would be quite satisfying.

I couldn't agree more. The CIS would be the most fun part of this game and I will buy every droid possible if they become an army

I hope they add the new breakout character from Solo. Although it would probably be a better fit for IA.

You could just paint his shirt blue and call it the original version, people have already used weirder colours. *Cough Cough Pink Vader Cough Cough*

I don't plan to play rebels, but would like to see a wookie support unit. They would be fun to paint.

Small alternate terrain and kits to mod existing troops (heads and arms)

I would like to see some story driven scenarios, like GW did with TLotR SBG. This is a good start...

I want to see a continuous, steady release cycle of product and information regarding Legion so that it doesn't suffer from the same issues that FFG's "huge" (L5R & Runewars) games from 2017 seem to be withering away from.

Both of those games have had a major gap in news and releases that, at least locally for me, has caused interest in either game to completely dry up. In exactly one week Runewars will have been out for a year. Other than a couple of games to pass the time until Legion released I haven't played since the Store Championship in December, which only had 5 players. My FLGS still have the Quarterly Kits from the last two quarters sitting unopened.

As for L5R, I like the setting but I'm a casual card player at best. That game has gone 4 months between product releases and they just announced, this week, that the next group of products won't be until Q3 of this year. We are trying to go through the Battle for the Stronghold kit at my FLGS and so far attendance has been abysmal.

I think Legion has the potential to be a huge game, as big if not bigger than X-wing, but I'd hate to see it die in its infancy due to lack of support, or just information, from FFG.

Droid army, with basic druids being cheap and lots of them, don't give them a defense die, so when you shoot them they die, let them shoot with white die no surges. Can be suppressed unless you take strategy druid commander or something similar.
