Hi All

Thinking of giving this a go but I have a question regarding the trooper expansions and the other expansions of miniatures that are already in the core set.

Is there any different cards in the expansions that aren't already in the core set?

My thinking was if there isn't then I'm just as well buying two core sets as opposed to 1 of each trooper, etc,etc.

I know in xwing the xwing and tie expansions had different pilots and upgrade cards as did Armada but from what I have read it appears this is not the case with Legion.

Can someone confirm either way please.

Having read the card text on each if that's the only reason for buying the expansions I think I might just go with 2 cores and pump the savings into the other expansions and just pick up the cards in the future.

The wave "2" troopers will have these upgrades as well so no worries.

Most people I know are planning on getting a second core after one of each expansion if they decide they want more of them than 3 trooper squads.

Unless you're really dying for the alternate speeder bike sculpt, I think a second core is the way to go: two more trooper squads, plus a support, plus extra dice and maneuver tools (plus the same for the opposing faction). Proxy the missing cards until you need them or get the future troop expansions.
