Astarra?

By Watercolour Dragon, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Does anyone know if this is Astarra and if so if it's a new image or if it's previously appeared in any of the Terrinoth games? (first image on right)

If it's a brand new image not previously in a game that could be interesting (he says clutching at straws again)....

One of you may know!

It sure looks like here. The hair, braid, clothing, magiky-hand stuff, staff, hair band thing all match up. Is it an image in Descent? No, but it is her...

I just want my winter-themed expansion. It can be small-box... just stuff like 20 tiles into it...

Please be a new image never used before :)

As that has to be good, right?

It doesn't tell us anything really, since new art is clearly being commissioned for Genesys anyway. A new Astarra image means Terrinoth is still in development, not necessarily Descent- but that's not news.

Hadn't a lot of the Terrinoth imagery just been reused rather than new previously?

Does seem to echo the style seen in Legacy of Dragonholt https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/legacyofdragonholt/

which is currently out of stock but on my wantlist :( , the style of which also seems different to that used for RWM which was closer to or even the same art in some cases as Descent (I think)

If this is the future direction of Terrinoth art I like it- a lot of visual impact and fine detail even on the clothing and accessories - have liked all the art styles over time but this is I feel my favourite of all of them, some nice reference points for figure painting too. I guess the choice for Genesys might partly be the fact it's slightly timeless- looks quite modern whilst keeping the oldy worldy fantasy references. But when I get round to finally painting my figures this and other people's painting has set the bar quite high- feel like I need to do a really good job to do them justice now!
