This may be a little circumstantial but more evidence supporting that Imperial releases will be this month and Rebel will be in May is in the article about the Recruitment Kit. You can get Imperial swag in April and Rebel swag in May. See the link, the two paragraphs below the image of the swag included, about halfway down the page.

As an armada player, I will not believe there will an April release until it’s “shipping now”. I find May much more believeable for veers and snow troopers to be released. I am buying both sides but the empire will definitely have an unfair advantage until Leia gets released. They really should release together and have the snow troopers and fleet troopers release together.

Why are you assuming there will be an unfair advantage? Just because they have a bigger selection of troops?

The option of running 2 commanders seems big, being able to take veers will make it easier to take an atst as well.

Understandable, but with an 800 point limit, running both Veers and Vader will already put you over 300 points. They both seem to want to do differnet things, where Veers wants more troops/vehicles to run, and with 500 points left and needing 3 corp units, that doesn't leave you a ton for other stuff. It could totally work, I just don't think it will inherently be a big unbalanced issue. I could be totally wrong though

packs ALWAYS have multiple clans in them...just some have a few more cards for a faction sometimes (i.e. the one with a few more fire chickens in it)

It will definitely make it easier for Imperials to have more flexibility in their force composition but I'm not sure it will unbalance things too much. Even if they were to release at the same time, I still feel Empire gets the nod this time around anyway as the Snowtroopers have so much more to offer the Empire than the Fleet Troopers give the Rebels.

I think we will see a bigger meta swing when Han releases in Q3. Being able to run he an Leia together for an economical dual Commander build will be a much bigger deal.

This! Snowtroopers I think will be much better than Stormtroopers since they can move & shoot in one action. Taking objectives will be huge with them. And I think most rebels will run Han & Leia (calling it the "I love you, I know" list now!), as you can get a lot more creative with those point options.

Doesn't seem like the first quarter has that much emphasis on winning, rather you want to be involved and playing, painting and forming a community.

However, Legion looks like there is a significant difference to the way things are done, as compared to X-Wing and Destiny for example.

I would go for this like crazy. Not only do the Gungans match up well with the troop/ small vehicle/large vehicle breakdown, they'd just look cool on the table. This game needs more non-human characters.

That quite the Necro, but I agree, cause you quoted me lol... Im just saying you heard it hear first if it did happen. But I would love to field Darth Maul as an Operative maybe for the CIS, Battle Droid Swarm, VS Gungans would be a great time! All the one liners, issuing orders, "roger roger" "Oh no is that a Jedi, were gonna die" or you know something from battlefront, "Good Luck Turret" “Not us. We’re independent thinkers.” To which all of the nearby B1 droids respond with a chorus of, “Roger, roger.”

If the CIS get added to Legion as a separate faction, I'd like to see a command card named "Roger, roger".

Possible text for the card could allow the player to issue a command to 1 Corps unit, then re-deploy 1 defeated Corps unit and give it a command as well.

Would have to be a 3pip tho.
