Probably paper prototypes.
Can I hope for 1/270 scale??
So much for FFG putting out a mix-n-match version of the game that would work with XWM

Looks like the article states 'ready to play, painted and assembled miniatures', so you are likely correct
But yes, I also wish FFG had been able to go the Heroclix route with the game, putting out expansions from any number of IP's. I don't know if they feared that approach would 'dilute' their core sales, or if there were too many legal hurdles, but man I REALLY want a Gunstar in this game
Yo, OP. The MK VII had 3 guns, and I think you've lowballed its cost here. It's leagues better than the MK I or II. But here's the thing- after the Cylon attack on the Colonies that started the second "War" (more like genocide and running), they had to retool the avionics suites and take out the CNP gadgets, making them a LOT harder to fly. So your entry level pilots for the MK VIIs should not be any lower than PS4, if even that low.
Not so hot on it having torpedoes either. Too many options. I'm willing to bet that Galactica has more options for its IIs than its VIIs, given it fought a war with one of those two in it.
I'd be curious to see your take on Raptors.
Want. Hopefully the game will be as playable as X-wing; Wings of Glory has some mechanics I hope they *don't* port over.
I’ve been generally pleased with their GAMES, but their emloyees have seriously turned me off. Twice now the people working their booth at GenCon have been so incompetent that i was convinced to NOT buy their games.

Well, without making the stats too out of line, I went for more upgrades as "improvement." Eh, never watched the reimaged so I'm a little our of my element here.

Oh
crap
what are you doing with your time? Watch the new series it's... Well frankly it's phenomenal and deserves your attention. You've never seen anything like it.
Also, these stats are definitely better, but Kara never flew a MK VII. I don't quite recall why, but she kept to her MK II throughout the whole series if I recall correctly. (Flew the Blackbird once, I think. She REALLY loved her II.)

See above.
Actually, I have not even owned a TV for about 5 years. I also need to catch up on Game of Thrones. . .
Dang, some website said she was one of the few pilots who could handle a VII. Easy enough to put her in a II.

Maybe she flew one a couple times, but she stuck in a II mostly. But she was definitely the best pilot in the fleet (and frakkin' hot, holy ****.)
I'd say watch BSG before GoT, flat out.

Unless you’ve seen massive train wrecks before. My cousin was fond of describing as “avoiding all the cliche stereotypes of bad sci-fi and instead finding whole new ways to be bad that no one had ever done before.

Look, season 4 isn't all that great. Everything before it? A+. Do remember when it came out, too.
But don't you dare say the original was any better.

The original was very different. The were both actually pretty bad as far as story telling goes, just in radically different ways. Original was waaaay better at world building and presenting an alternative culture that wasn’t based on modern earth. Characters in the newer version were much more three dimensional, but none of them were at all likeable. I much prefer the look of the original, but that is essentially a stylistic choice.
Basically, the new version was the victim of a fad in TV at the time of making everything dark and unpleasant, which taints the entire show (on top of the incomprehensible story line) while the original was a standard episodic show from the 70’s, with good episodes and really bad episodes. I can watch the original and just skip the bad stuff, but what’s bad about the newer version permeates everything about it and so can’t be escaped.
So, can’t say one or the other is “better” because they are actually so different, but I vastly prefer the original.
The new BSG is easily the best live action tv show I've ever seen.
The story, the acting, the action scenes, the music, all top grade.
The first 2, maybe 2.5 seasons aren't bad, but it starts to nosedive off a cliff after the first few episodes of the third season. Certainly worth a watch, but it's hard to call it amazing after a lot of their later ideas.
Part of the problem I have with the new BSG is that it had so much potential and they just didn't know what to do with it. They just bounced from one surprise twist to another week after week. It ended up coming across like a sci-fi soap opera

The second season is the best and third season is the "worst" of the four IMO.
I agree that after the new caprica arc most of season three isn't the strongest until the end of the season.
However season four, especially on my 2nd run through viewing of the series would probably be my second favorite season. Part of that is because I loved 99% of the 3 part ending. Only gripe would be the epilogue in present time at the very end. It was kind of anticlimactic and unnecessary. But man the score for the finale...better than a lot of major movies. Seriously buy all the soundtracks, especially season 4.
But season 4 has a lot of big emotional moments and great arcs. The mutiny arc is one of my favorite of the series.

True that's a solid arc and good description.
I echo that it is still the greatest TV show I have ever watched. Amazing setting/story, character development like I didn't know could even exist, awesome realistic action sequences, and some deadly twists.
My favourite episode was episode 1 season 1 "33" where they get attacked every 33 minutes. So good!
Also it spawned one of the greatest board games of all time.
And Helo rocks, that is all haha.

And, since they're debuting the game at GenCon 2018, I'll definitely be looking for their booth to give the game a try.
