Okay so in a game against my brother I had raddus on a Corvette. Turn two I don't bring my ship in and the ship raddus is on is destroyed. My brother and I couldn't figure out if the ship off the board could be brought into play anymore. I had another Corvette on the table but the card to bring in the ship was gone. So my question is does the ship get destroyed or can it come in at range 1 of the other Corvette.

Once the ship with the commander is destroyed, you lose that commander's abbility, so if you still didn't bring the ship to play, it cannot come anymore

And it counts as destroyed for the purpose of scoring
