Miniature Market Customer Service?

I'm planning on slapping a hundred or so bucks down on Miniature Market soon. I've been incredibly lucky in the past that I haven't had any significant issue with any product.

However, in case they do, what is their customer service like? I've heard good thing and bad.

Will they take items back and issue refunds like Amazon?

Is it better spending eighty on Amazon, with guaranteed refund, then fifty with MM?

Theyre stl based so i shop there in person infrequently. Ive never had an issue but I've heard the hate too. Seems mostly like it sucks as a business to exist against and as an employer. Ive never had a purchase issue with them.

Used them to ship international on many occasions and never had an issue.

Never had an issue with MM.

Once I preordered stuff from them and there was an issue with half of what I preordered releasing, but the shipment was being held on account of one item not being released along with the rest.

MM customer service manually split the order for me, and even though it made each individual order drop below the requisite $100 for free shipping, maintained the free shipping on each 'new' order.

They even added new items to one of the orders at my request.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is I have had experience with their CS team and it was extremely helpful, even though I wasn't having what you would traditionally call an issue.

Hi, I used Miniature Market several times without any issue. I did place one very large order for "X-Wing" that contained a damaged TIE Advanced (loose wing): I contacted them and they promptly dispatched a replacement without charge, so thumbs up to their customer service.

I’ve emailed their customer service before and they have always reached back within 24 hours.

Never had a problem with them myself, and I have spend 100s of dollars there.

Ive had good and bad experience with them. More good than bad but the last 2 times caused me to look elsewhere. They do get back to you very quickly regardless of the issue. I still think for the most part they should be ok.
