AT-ST and Magnets

The head joint is begging to be magnetized. I was thinking about picking up a sphere and a disc magnet to get this done so the head can rotate fully for positioning in-game. I'm trying to figure out the correct size.

Has anyone tried this? If so, what size?

you mean for the weapons? Why does the head not stay on?

Yeah, took a look at it. Seems like it’d be rather difficult to do. It’s a big ball joint with quite a bit of weight on it. I ended up just glueing the ball joint but leaving everything else able to move.

Does the head lock in?

I never tried to push it all the way on and assumed it needed glue.

I took a Dremel and cut the ball in half. Then I used 2 large disc magnets to connect the head. So, I can rotate the head, but it doesn’t pitch up and down. Of course, since everything else moves I can still pitch it as needed.

Hey now, I play rebels, but based on everything I’ve seen, it looks like it should just pop in.;)

I glued mine, but put it at a nicely dynamic slight angle. It's leaning forward and a little to one side. Makes for a nice pose.
