If you can find 2 points, you could use a TIE Shuttle with Director Krennic once he's out to make Soontir actually viable.

But honestly, I'd just be scared to fly 2 PS9, fragile arc-dodgers in this meta

After so many different approaches in finding a good wingman for Kylo I think Soontir is one of the weakest (currently). I really like him and looking forward to his comeback but he has some major problems:

1: Attack is relatively weak compared to other high ps pilots

2: He’s predictable after PTL

3: He’s ‘only’ a PS9

4: He can go down super fast

I prefer Vader /w Cruise missiles and an academy pilot. Vader can trigger ISYTDS and is a PS11.

The other viable wingman is QD + something (epsilon ace or Academy)

For your list: I would use an epsilon pilot. He’s an awesome blocker and you’ll have a 3pt. bid.

Looks like a run away for 75 minutes list. Neither ship likes to be IN combat.

No, I dodge fire since Kylo is so squirrly and soontir is...well, soontir, and shoot at stuff

I fly this list with Primed thrusters instead of Advanced optics, and Dark Curse instead of a wicked bid. Its actually pretty good until you realize that Soontir is GOING to take a harpoon. 4 fully modded dice always beats 3 dice, even with an evade (because usually there's multiples)

Kylo alone won a store quarterly kit (krayt bounty maybe?) and Soontir alone went 2-3 in a regional a year ago or some such. This list is perfect for the system opens because you just 1/2 point something or kill a small ship and run for 65 more minutes. You have to be absolutely perfect on your engage rounds. Otherwise fully expect your brain will be melted after round 3!
