You can get cream for that.
Take the Initiative seems like a strong card for solo play.
Also, on Quick Study, does that look like a kid playing in his dad’s suit?

There was an encounter card in the announcement for the deluxe expansion entitled "Curse of Yig", so yeah, pretty sure the AO is Yig in this one.

I thought the same. Not one of the most impressive bits of art we've gotten.

Its also good for those investigators who worried about being creamed by Mythos cards (since no actions have been taken). Skids will like it as well as anyone who is worried about lose X sanity based on how much fail by tests.

Timeline Destabilization is awesome though. To bad that art wasn't on a player card. I guess they need at least one good/great piece of art to put on the pack cover.

Yeah I remember, I was just making a joke given how obvious it was in the art for this one. Looks like it was a miss. Large pictures of snake men make things pretty obvious.

On the Reddit thread someone mentioned that its a kid who is a quick study in his dad's suit so its intentional. For what its worth I think the looks like Eric Trump.

It is also in Mexico, and we are getting Father Matheo, who are both heavily associated with Yig.

Are they?
Yig’s first story, The Curse of Yig, was set in Oklahoma.

Father Mateo? I haven't seen that spoiled yet. Is he the Mystic or Survivor?

Yig shows up in Mateo's story in the Investigators book, set in Mexico. It is also part of Mateo's backstory in Eldritch horror.
Yig is also associated with Mexico in Eldritch Horror, it is where he spawns, and a lot of his mysteries tie into it in some way.

We just have the mini-cards. So we don't know yet. Just that he is in it.

No, it’s new investigator: Vincent Adultman!

He's a MAN man!
Quick Study: You give me some Twinkies or I'll tell dad you broke something!

I know what they're going for, I just think it looks a bit silly. It looks like it's depicting some sort of gremlin-based implementation of MS Excel.
