Luke (Force Reflexes, Jedi Mind Trick)

2x Rebel Troopers (MPL 57, +1 Trooper and Impact Grenades) My ATST rushers

2x Rebel Troopers (Z-6, +1 Trooper and Scopes) Long Range anti-personell

2x Rebel Troopers (backfield objective campers and/or bodies to be fed to Lord Vader as screens)

1x ATRT with Long Range Comm and Flame Thrower (anti-infantry in cover and/or speeder bikes)

1x ATRT with Long Range Comm and Laser Cannon (to help put the hurts on ATST)

That gives me 20 more points either for extra stuff or Initiative Bid. (Thinking about Grappling Hooks for the rear-guard mooks, to get them up into high terrain swiftly if needs be.)

I still have yet to play a full 800 point game - I may have to give this list a try.

be sure that you start the ion/impact troopers as close as you can to the ATST, Because if it has the mortar it can suppress you troops before they get close enough to be effective. You have to get inside range 3 ad then no more mortar fire. Its a tall order but if you can land an Ion token early you've got a good chance at at least damaging it. I play Imperial, and have only played against the ATST once. I used the rocket launcher and was able to destroy it but only on the last turn and after it had effectively controlled the objectives long enough for me to have lost the game.

With that 20 points, dropped Long Range Comms and a two troopers less you get enough points for extra naked AT-RT - it might be worth considering it. Or even drop all the extra troopers and put some gun on it ;)

Yeah so I just went to my FLGS at lunch and picked up 2 more squads of rebel troopers and another ATRT. Here is the list I plan on trying out on Thursday against one of my buddy's:

Luke: FR, JMT

2x Troopers: Ion, +1, Impact Grenades

2x Troopers, Z6, +1, Scopes

1x Troopers

ATRT: LRC, Flamer

ATRT: Flamer

ATRT: Comms Jammer

That comes in at 790. Thinking about putting another Long Range Commlink on the ATRT's as I plan on using them as Flankers, which means they will probably be out of range of Luke, and with such short range, you don't want to run the risk of them getting outflanked themselves, and thus not being able to use those flamers, so you'll want to be able to put Orders on them.
