Yesterday the party harvested their kyber crystals. Soon they'll have to build their sabers. I know hilt construction is in the GM kit and Endless Vigil, but do they have to do anything Force-wise before they install their crystal? I had them meditate to find the crystal that called to them, which i ruled was clear/colorless. My thought was they would meditate on their place in the force, and that would define their crystal color. I'm away from the books, does that kind of thing show up anywhere?

Nope, nothing Force-related in terms of game mechanics; just make the appropriate skill check taking however like the set of rules you're using dictates (GM Kit is a day I think, while Endless Vigil is a few hours depending on the type of hilt being made).

That said, it's totally in keeping with the narrative fluff to have the PCs spend a substantial portion of the time 'building' the hilt meditating on the crystal.
