Maybe it's just me, but that title made me go ... "wahhhhhh!?!?!" o ... just end of the series.

I think it's interesting that Allen, who had played Latari, ends the article by saying he's already put together a Waiqar list. I wonder if he just likes the undead theme better, or if he's saw something in Waiqar play style that has attached him. I wonder if these guys will ever get on the forums.

I also thought it was a farewell to RW entirely post. But then I remembered that FFG never truly says something is dead.

Sigh, I had the exact same thoughts, so I didn't say anything. You probably did just jinx it, but we can still be friends.

I’ve always had the impression that these battle reports were filler to address the lack of feedback/news complaints on the forum. So this wrapping up makes me think something is finally moving.

If I have it right, we still haven’t had previews for:

-Berserkers Expansion

-Flesh Ripper Expansion (sort of)

-Spined Threshers Expansion

I think we had the Wraiths, Pathfinders, Kethra, and Darnati previews.

That and Legion is finally out in the wild.

Now FFG can get back to things that were put on hold due to the house of mouse.

I'd be surprised to see a new unit announcement next week already, but in the next month or so I bet we'll get it. The battle reports were filler, so I doubt the filler exactly coincides with their next batch of real news. Happy to be wrong though!

Let’s pray they’ve been working hard behind the scenes and these will get going really fast now. Long wait for my Darnati.

We haven't had a Darnati preview yet. Only the announcement. I don't think we've seen any Latari-only upgrades from it, yet, either.

Edit: But maybe a new generic upgrade, but it's not shown clearly. The card fan shows what looks like a Corruption Rune that hands out stun, immobilize, or panic tokens to somethingsomething range 1-some rune based on the category of a morale card you draw.

We've got a few previews to distribute while stuff is on the boat, so it wouldn't surprise me to see one of those next week.

Probably won't see new unit announcements until Darnati hit shelves. Then maybe we'll see an elf scouty unit (dear god, how mobile would that be?) and the Uthuk ranged announced.

But you have to suffer a wound yourself for each auto-wound. Remember, this is Uthuk.

Honestly, I kind of expect Uthuk archers to function a bit like the Crossbowmen. Some kind of ability that only triggers at range 2/3 or less and a white one forward. No cheap threat 3 though. They’ll get something seemingly stupid like a 2x1, 1x2, 2x2, and 3x2.

That's RIGHT they will! Those vipers will jump out of their quivers and seek the legs of all their enemies at range 1-5!

(I jest. In all sincerity, I'd really like all the factions to be balanced, but if not, I'd rather not have my faction be the one that's over-tuned.)
