Kuat Bombers Jerjerrod

Hey guys I have a tournament coming up, and I am wondering what to bring. I was thinking about a Sloane list, but I decided to go bombers instead. My meta is pretty diverse, seeing a range of builds and bids, but I can expect some 15 point bids and some 3 point bids. Squads are normally light, minus 1 or 2 Sloane lists. The squads are Ciena/Valen or Shara/ Tycho. There have been more Dual ISD lists and then a lot of liberties and more Raddus now. If you have any insight, please comment and help me perfect this. I have very little experiance with bombers.

Now the list.

My list consists of Moff jerJerrod flying a Kuat with, of course, BT Avenger. I have a Gozanti and Quasar which perfectly cover my squadrons for activations. I switched from a 1+1 +2 list to add more bombers, because I normally only run Valen/Ciena. I switched to TIE defenders from bombers to add more anti squad firepower. I am pretty sure these are the objectives I want, but I do not know for sure.

I know you mention light fighter opposition but just in case you need a little escort to protect Dengar. Zertek in place of Ciena would be good or if you can do without the brace tokens then Tempest squadron provides both bomber and escort. Then you could upgrade Valen to Mauler Mithel with his ramming attacks.

If you want a bit more bid I don't think Vector is getting you much with your large number of speed 5 fighters.

I think that Vector is nice with tempest and and dengar, but if you don't like it, then I am good.

Also, does Jerjerrod make a good commander for this type of list? Does the 1 ISD have enough firepower to rip through a fleet with bombers?

I think you would be better with motti, the isd can nav pretty well on its own so giving the ISD and your quasar some extra hull is a better investment

No jendon with maarek?

Would recommend dropping Vector and swapping APTs for External racks (slightly better for the big shot, or from a side arc if need be.) As suggested, swapping Ciena for Zertik is also wise; if your meta is light on squads, it might be smart to swap a Defender for Tempest and Dengar for a generic Jumpmaster and a bomber, thus emphasizing higher anti-ship damage over (potentially wasted) AA. Having then freed up eight points, you can move Hondo to the Gozanti and add Grint to the Quasar so you can rock squadrons six, or you could drop Flight Controllers and add another bomber to hit 134. Hope this helps!

I really appreciate the feedback, but I do not think that I want to run this list anymore. I see some potential weaknesses, plus the quasar has never survived any of the games I have played with it. I also have to go out and buy 2 packs of bombers, which I can't do before this weekend. I have enclosed another list because I think that it would be pretty easy to use, and it seems to me like it will be consistent. I also want to try out Thrawn :)

Again, thank you for you time, but if you have any ideas for this list please comment them down below! I am planning on just doing 3 confires with Thrawn, during turns 3, 4, and 5. I think that allows my ships to be navigating enough and getting in those engineerings. I am also pretty bad at picking objectives, so if those should be something else, please tell me. Also the 2 repair crews was just for like some crazy turns where I pop out with like 6 engineering and then 2 cards off. Hondo is there because he is good, but I don't know if he will be THAT useful.

Na, he is just too expensive for this list, + regular tie defenders are pretty good for their points, so I am not worried about having to double tap.
