I picked up the game over the weekend as the area store was offering 20% off if we completed a survey about the store. In reading the rules the practice table size is 3'x3'. When reviewing the cards for different scenarios the table setup appears to be either 4'x6' or 3'x6'. I tried searching on here but I wasn't able to find much information as to the recommended size. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's 3x6.

6x3 is the playfield. 6x4 leaves room for tokens, dice, cards etc

I have 2 3x3 mats for play (making 6x3) but I will still use 1 3x3 for smaller games and learning.

The Rules Reference includes an alternate format for 1600 point armies that uses the 6x4 play area. Standard 800 point games are played on 6x3
